Momme is used to measure density of silk fabrics which identifies the quality.
If fabric 100ft x 3.75ft weighs 22 pounds, then it is 22 momme (mm).

12-22mm – used for clothing and fashion accessories industry.
19-30mm – used for bedding industry - bed sheets and pillow cases.
